How We Got Here, From There!
Doreen and I are typical people who made a huge decision back in 2008 that changed the way we lived our lives and got back our quality family time.
We decided to stop trading our "precious family time," away for money (working away from home 60-70 hours a week) and that we seriously needed to have more control of our time so we could enjoy our time together, visiting our children and friends, traveling and perusing our many interests. That's when we decided to make money online from home.
Our Lives Before...
The collapse of the housing market and the economic conditions kicked started our new way of thinking. We could feel the recession bearing down in our area and the income and lifestyle we had come accustomed to had disappeared almost overnight.
Before we had learned the skills to become internet marketers, Doreen had been working as a successful teacher, "after our kids had grown," and I had been operating a business my whole adult life in the home building industry.
We enjoyed our lifestyle but it wasn't extravagant, yet we were always able to bring home enough income to pay our monthly bills and invest for the future.
We were both used to working hard all the time, even though in the back of our minds we knew we rarely got to spend time living our lives.
Deciding to make money online from home would release the shackles, we were giving our time away for income and not enjoying the precious moments.
Our New Beginnings...
I was always interested with online marketing and dabbled a bit with MLMs, but really never made enough money to talk about.
After a couple months of Searching the Internet, going through the trial and error of affiliate and MLM nonsense, spending a few thousand dollars (I call it education money) trying to find the right marketing fit for us , we finally learned about (I’d like to say stumbled across) an online community of top earning entrepreneurs that had aroused my curiosity.
Getting on Board...
We thought about this online marketing system for about a week then decided to join into this elite internet marketing community.
There was a small learning curve but with weekly Q+A webinars, personal coaching from my sponsor, very helpful instructional emails with instructional videos, not to mention free software for generating free leads.
I would have had to try hard to fail!
This marketing system & training platform was actually teaching me how to leverage the internet to make money online from home.
Not to mention 1-on-1 help from my sponsor, we were able to be profitable in 1 1/2 weeks. This is the most helpful community of entrepreneurs I have ever come across.
Our New Income and Life...
In week 3 we had our first monster income week, coming close to the income I was making with my offline business in one month without all the overhead.
The secret to marketing success is persistence and consistency, because sooner or later the numbers have to work in your favor, once your sales funnel is full and you consistently fill it with new prospects!
Doreen and I were excited, not to say that we weren’t working hard but it didn’t feel like we were working at all while we were learning to make money online from home.
We were growing passionate and enthusiastic about helping other people learn the sharing system we are using.
We also noticed that we had time freedom back, we have nice long lunches and we sleep in a little late if we wanted.
We also took days off when we needed them, Complete time freedom!
We now have the ability to work part time and make money online from home, “but make no mistake” I do work every day (Except Fri. Sat.+Sun.) to move my activity forward, I do not take this opportunity for granted.
We have a couple of vacations planned in faraway places, and we invite our kids to join us, No more trading our valuable time for money, Now this is how to Live……
Now, one last point….
We don’t have to answer to any boss or supervisor, we come and go as we please. We can skip our lunch or take-off for the day.
The online system we set up continues working for us 24/7, night or day, all year long.
Don’t get me wrong, there are some times that we have to maintenance our online activity, but we do that completely on our time...
